Almost all teachers are
personally committed to
every student who walks into
their classroom. Like every
profession, a handful of
educators are misplaced.
With this in mind, and
knowing that every child
deserves a committed teacher
every year, I believe we
must re-evaluate the
effectiveness of teacher
tenure. Protecting a
handful of teachers who are
misplaced is not in the best
interest of our children.
